Responsibilities
- Safely pick up and deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses in the Oakland area.
- Verify delivery addresses and ensure packages are in good condition upon arrival.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers to ensure high satisfaction levels.
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks (tires, lights, fluid levels) before and after shifts.
- Utilize handheld devices to track delivery status and update logs in real-time.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License and a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver packages weighing up to 50-70 lbs repeatedly.
- Reliable smartphone with data connectivity for navigation and delivery apps.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic English proficiency for communication with dispatch and customers.
