Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks to transport goods to designated locations in Philadelphia and surrounding areas.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with federal regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely, utilizing proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging devices (ELD) and daily logs in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Adhere to strict schedule adherence to meet customer delivery deadlines.
- Practice defensive driving techniques to ensure the safety of yourself, your cargo, and the public.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license required.
- Clean driving record with no more than two (2) moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong night shift availability and commitment to working the designated hours.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing repetitive motions.
- At least 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
