Responsibilities
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers to deliver cargo to designated locations.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation in compliance with federal regulations.
- Unload freight efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding schedules and issues.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable truck driving experience.
- Clear Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Ability to work weekends (Friday through Sunday) as required.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.
- Physically fit and able to lift cargo up to 50 lbs occasionally.
