Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for long-haul transportation across designated routes
- Adhere to strict FMCSA regulations, including HOS compliance and DOT inspections
- Plan efficient routes while maintaining delivery schedules and customer satisfaction
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and documentation using ELD systems
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize load planning and turnaround times
- Represent the company professionally while interacting with clients at delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR driving experience
- Passing MVR and pre-employment drug screening required
- Familiarity with FMCSA regulations and electronic logging devices
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Willingness to cross-state travel with flexible schedule
