Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to customers in a timely manner.
- Load and unload packages efficiently using hand trucks, dollies, and pallet jacks.
- Ensure the delivery vehicle is kept clean, organized, and fueled.
- Interact professionally with customers, answering questions and resolving issues.
- Complete all delivery logs and paperwork accurately at the end of each shift.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Perform basic vehicle inspections before and after routes.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no DUIs or major violations).
- Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet strict delivery deadlines.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and smartphone apps.
- Basic computer skills for logging hours and mileage.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and physical environments.
- Pass a background check and drug screening.
