Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport packages and goods to various customer locations throughout New York.
- Provide top-tier customer service by ensuring items are delivered in perfect condition and on time.
- Utilize handheld devices and navigation apps to optimize routes and manage delivery schedules.
- Collect payments and process digital transactions accurately at the point of delivery.
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety standards of the delivery vehicle.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, parking regulations, and local delivery guidelines.
- Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding delays or route changes.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (Class C) and a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 3 years).
- Access to a reliable, insured vehicle (car, van, or scooter depending on the route requirements).
- A smartphone with a data plan for GPS and app-based communication.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced city environment.
- Basic English proficiency for reading maps and communicating with customers.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
