Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (flatbeds, dry vans, reefers) for local and regional routes
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment handling and documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and compliance with DOT regulations
- Collaborate with dispatch team for optimal route planning and on-time deliveries
- Represent company with professionalism during customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Pass federal background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of Baltimore metro area and Mid-Atlantic routes
- DOT medical certification current and in good standing
- Flexibility for early morning start times and occasional weekends
