Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry vans, reefers, flatbeds) across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment and techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Report maintenance issues and coordinate repairs
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license (Class A preferred)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to obtain CDL-A within 90 days (training provided)
- Basic math skills for weight distribution calculations
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
- No DUI/DWI convictions in past 5 years
