Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Ensure cargo is securely fastened and complies with all safety standards.
- Maintain accurate logs and delivery documentation (electronic logs preferred).
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety.
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading and unloading processes.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License (CDL Class A or B preferred; Class B training provided).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screen.
- Reliable transportation to the terminal.
- Basic math skills for paperwork accuracy.
