Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and DOT compliance.
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight across the state and region.
- Load and unload cargo accurately using proper equipment and safety protocols.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with dispatch, shippers, and receivers.
- Adhere strictly to all local, state, and federal DOT regulations and traffic laws.
- Keep the truck and cargo area clean, organized, and secure.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) and negative drug screen results.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience (experience with tanker or hazmat is a plus).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
