Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A or B vehicles safely and efficiently on night routes.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to weight distribution and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and DOT compliance documentation.
- Provide exceptional customer service to shippers and receivers during late-night operations.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience (Class A preferred).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations, HOS rules, and safety standards.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently during night hours.
- Must be at least 21 years of age and able to pass a background check.
