Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local/regional routes in Nashville area
- Plan efficient delivery routes using GPS navigation systems
- Load/unload cargo with proper securing techniques
- Maintain accurate trip logs and delivery documentation
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Communicate proactively with dispatch team
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck experience
- Own or have reliable access to a box truck (26ft+)
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds regularly
- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting
- Smartphone proficiency for dispatch apps
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Strong time management and organizational skills
