Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for nighttime freight transport
- Adhere strictly to HOS regulations and DOT compliance protocols
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and documentation
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS navigation systems
- Maintain secure cargo handling during all transit phases
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse teams
- Resolve delivery exceptions and customer inquiries professionally
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement preferred
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations (3+ years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Proficient in electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong spatial navigation skills in urban environments
- Successful completion of background/drug screening
- Flexibility for variable shift schedules
