Responsibilities
- Operate commercial tractor-trailers in a safe and efficient manner.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper tie-down techniques.
- Plan routes and adhere to delivery schedules and time windows.
- Complete daily vehicle inspections (DVIR) and report any mechanical issues.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and documentation.
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery and pickup locations.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL Class A) with a clean driving record.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- U.S. Citizenship or valid legal work authorization.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
- Basic math skills for cargo calculations.
