Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Safely operate commercial trucks on local and regional routes, including Virginia.
- Secure cargo properly and adhere to all weight and balance regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service during loading and unloading procedures.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with required endorsements.
- Must have a clean driving record and acceptable MVR history.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of driving experience preferred.
- Ability to work night shifts and weekends as required.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
