Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B CDL) to transport freight on designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for efficient route planning and delivery scheduling
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and techniques
- Complete delivery documentation and provide timely customer updates
- Report road hazards or mechanical issues immediately to management
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Miami-Dade County and Florida highway systems
- Excellent time management and communication skills
