Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles in accordance with FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload freight efficiently and securely to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and all necessary documentation at all times.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and customer service standards while on the road.
- Report any mechanical issues or safety hazards immediately to management.
- Uphold a professional image at all times while representing the company.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B (depending on vehicle type).
- Current Medical Card (DOT Physical) valid for at least 6 months.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no serious violations.
- At least 1 year of verifiable driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and background check.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety.
