Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles across Miami-Dade and South Florida routes
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain meticulous trip documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for efficient load/unloading operations
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and safety compliance checks
- Optimize delivery routes to maximize time efficiency and fuel savings
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Utilize GPS technology for real-time navigation and route adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Knowledge of Miami metropolitan area and Florida highway systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work flexible schedules including weekends
- Pass mandatory background check and drug screening
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD) and fleet management software
- DOT medical certification and hazmat endorsement preferred
