Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) for local and regional routes
- Execute time-sensitive deliveries with 99%+ on-time performance
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintenance reports
- Maintain strict compliance with FMCSA and Louisiana DOT regulations
- Utilize GPS technology for optimized route planning and fuel efficiency
- Document cargo handling and delivery confirmations via digital platforms
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with hazmat placarding and securement protocols
- Strong knowledge of Louisiana highway systems and delivery zones
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
