Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks to transport goods across the United States efficiently and safely.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (EOBR) records and adhere to Hours of Service (HOS) rules.
- Load and unload cargo safely, utilizing proper securing techniques to prevent damage.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and potential delays.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and traffic laws at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) and DOT drug screen clearance.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and driving record review.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Flexibility to work varying schedules including nights and weekends as needed.
