Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages to designated addresses in San Diego and surrounding areas.
- Verify package contents and condition upon delivery, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and digital records using handheld devices.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure optimal performance.
- Handle customer inquiries professionally and resolve any delivery issues efficiently.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (Class B CDL preferred but not always required depending on cargo).
- Clean driving record with no major infractions in the last 3 years.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50+ lbs repeatedly.
- Strong time management skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as needed.
- Access to reliable personal transportation to and from the depot.
