Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages to designated residential and commercial addresses throughout Houston.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies to ensure accident-free driving.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers, handling cash/card payments and obtaining signatures when required.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean, organized, and stocked with supplies and promotional materials.
- Utilize handheld delivery devices to manage routes, track progress, and update delivery statuses in real-time.
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues or safety hazards immediately to fleet management.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License and a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the workday.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to follow routes efficiently.
- Reliable smartphone with data connectivity for navigation and logging.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime.
