Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A/B commercial vehicles for local/regional routes
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Efficiently load/unload cargo with proper equipment handling
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Ensure timely delivery of time-sensitive shipments
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Long Beach/SoCal metro routes
- Basic cargo securement knowledge
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexible schedule availability including weekends
