Responsibilities
- Transport goods safely and efficiently between Scottsdale metro locations and regional hubs
- Maintain meticulous vehicle records and perform daily safety inspections
- Optimize routes to maximize delivery times and fuel efficiency
- Communicate proactively with dispatch team regarding load status and delays
- Handle specialized cargo including temperature-sensitive and high-value merchandise
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations and local transport ordinances
- Manage administrative tasks including invoicing and expense tracking
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable box truck experience
- Proof of commercial liability insurance ($1M minimum)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Strong knowledge of Arizona's commercial transport regulations
- Exceptional time management and customer service skills
- Reliable late-model box truck (2015 or newer preferred)
