Responsibilities
- Operate box trucks safely and efficiently across Southern California routes
- Maintain detailed trip logs and ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations
- Coordinate with dispatch for optimal load planning and time-sensitive deliveries
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and preventive maintenance
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery and pickup operations
- Utilize GPS technology for real-time route optimization
- Manage documentation including bills of lading and delivery confirmations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 2 years box truck experience
- DOT medical certification and required endorsements

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
