Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks for weekend deliveries across Los Angeles County
- Maintain strict adherence to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and document vehicle conditions
- Optimize delivery routes for maximum efficiency and on-time performance
- Handle specialized cargo requiring temperature control or secure transport
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Complete electronic logs and required paperwork accurately
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Proven ability to navigate Los Angeles metropolitan area
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday shifts)
- Familiarity with hazmat or specialized transport preferred
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
