Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (dry van, refrigerated) for long-haul routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, HOS guidelines, and safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology to ensure timely deliveries
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
- Handle loading/unloading with proper equipment and techniques
- Document delivery confirmations and resolve delivery discrepancies
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations)
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with California highway systems and regional routes
- Proficient in electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
