Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles across designated routes while adhering to DOT regulations
- Conduct thorough pre-trip/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Load/unload cargo with proper securing techniques and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team regarding delivery status and route conditions
- Ensure timely deliveries while maintaining exceptional customer service standards
- Comply with all federal, state, and local transportation laws
- Participate in ongoing safety training programs and equipment certification
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or B license (or willingness to obtain through our training program)
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical examination and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of cargo handling and securement procedures
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance
- Ability to work independently while maintaining team communication
- Flexibility to work irregular hours including nights and weekends
- Physical capability to handle cargo up to 70 pounds
