The Role
You will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to our customers. This position requires a commitment to safety, punctuality, and professional conduct at all times.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and delivery vehicles in accordance with all state and federal regulations.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
- Plan routes to ensure timely delivery of goods to customers in the Jacksonville area and beyond.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation, including Electronic Logging Device (ELD) compliance.
- Provide exceptional customer service and represent the company brand professionally.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B required.
- Current DOT Medical Card and DOT physical on file.
- Minimum of 1 year of commercial driving experience preferred (new grads encouraged).
- Must possess a clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3-5 years.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and perform physical tasks associated with loading.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
