Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans to deliver packages and goods across Long Beach and surrounding areas
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and ensure proper maintenance documentation
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and update tracking systems in real-time
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and address client inquiries
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Assist with loading/unloading cargo and secure items properly during transit
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical, background check, and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Long Beach streets and Southern California geography
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer literacy for using delivery tracking systems
