Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles on local and regional delivery routes.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and safety.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain mechanical integrity.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date logs, delivery receipts, and all required documentation.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status and schedule changes.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Current DOT medical card and physical examination certification.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable professional driving experience.
- No DUIs, reckless driving violations, or major traffic accidents within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy packages or cargo.
