Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks safely and efficiently across assigned routes in Northern California.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securement and handling of goods.
- Maintain accurate records using electronic logging devices (ELD) in strict adherence to FMCSA regulations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding delays, route changes, and delivery updates.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Must possess a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and perform manual tasks during loading/unloading.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
