Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional and long-haul routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle documentation
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations, HOS compliance, and company safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes while managing delivery timelines and customer expectations
- Secure cargo using proper loading/unloading techniques and restraint systems
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and maintenance teams
- Complete electronic logging systems and digital paperwork accurately
- Participate in ongoing safety training and equipment certification programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Current DOT medical certification and ability to pass background check
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and safety procedures
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including nights/weekends
