Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles while adhering to traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Plan and execute efficient delivery routes to maximize time and fuel efficiency
- Load/unload merchandise with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and issue resolution
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation using mobile technology
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize route performance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience in urban environments
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate in varied weather conditions
- Strong time management skills with ability to meet strict delivery deadlines
- Proficient with GPS navigation and route planning software
- Excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving abilities
- Pass background check and drug screening per DOT regulations
