Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional routes across Louisiana and Mississippi
- Perform daily pre-trip inspections and ensure DOT compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging records
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient load management
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Assist in secure cargo loading/unloading procedures
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Louisiana/MS route geography
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and time management abilities
- Flexibility for occasional weekend/evening shifts
