Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial tractor-trailers (Class A CDL) to transport goods to designated destinations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, securing loads properly to prevent damage and ensure safety.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and daily logbooks.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies while on the road.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable OTR or regional driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card) and DOT Drug Screen on file.
- Ability to pass a background check and motor vehicle record (MVR) review.
- Strong knowledge of interstate and intrastate traffic laws and regulations.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing duties in all weather conditions.
