Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Load and unload freight accurately, ensuring cargo security and damage prevention.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify any mechanical issues.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and required documentation, including bills of lading and delivery receipts.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
- Uphold our high standards of customer service and professional conduct at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial truck driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, cargo securement, and hazardous materials handling (if applicable).
- Basic proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD) and handheld devices.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
