Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) in a safe and professional manner on local and regional routes.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance.
- Load and unload cargo safely using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Maintain accurate logbooks (HOS) and ensure full compliance with DOT regulations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding delays, route changes, or issues.
- Keep the cab and cargo area clean and organized throughout the shift.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with the appropriate class and endorsements.
- Current Department of Transportation (DOT) Medical Card.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Clean driving record with no serious traffic violations.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
