Responsibilities
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Safely load, secure, and unload cargo using appropriate equipment.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and delivery paperwork in accordance with FMCSA standards.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Provide exceptional customer service to shippers and receivers.
- Execute route planning to ensure timely and efficient delivery schedules.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures.
- Ability to operate manual and automatic transmissions.
