Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A vehicles in compliance with all DOT regulations and traffic laws.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety.
- Load and unload freight securely, ensuring cargo integrity throughout the transit.
- Maintain accurate records using Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) and delivery logs.
- Adhere to strict safety policies and report any vehicle issues immediately.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and locations.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required (Class B with upgrade training available).
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR check) and good moral standing.
- Current DOT medical card or willingness to obtain one.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and commitment to safety.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally during loading/unloading.
