Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A CDL) to transport freight to and from customer locations.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections according to DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring weight distribution and securing loads properly.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and documentation for all trips.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with dispatch and clients.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety policies, and company procedures.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Pass a DOT physical examination and drug screen.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading.
- Strong knowledge of local and regional road maps and logistics.
- Must be available to work flexible hours and occasional overtime.
