Responsibilities
- Deliver packages to residential and commercial locations in the New York area in a safe and timely manner.
- Load and unload packages from the delivery vehicle, ensuring all items are handled with care.
- Observe all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure a secure delivery process.
- Interact professionally with customers, answering questions and resolving any delivery issues.
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks (tire pressure, fluid levels) before and after shifts.
- Accurately record delivery information and maintain logs as required.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License (Class C or higher).
- Achieve and maintain a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Basic knowledge of New York City streets and navigation.
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Must have a smartphone for dispatch updates and navigation.
