Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A) safely and efficiently over designated routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment (forklift, straps, chains).
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and documentation (Bill of Lading).
- Adhere to all safety policies and traffic laws at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and route changes.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience (preferably flatbed or reefer).
- Current DOT medical card.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
