Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) for weekend delivery routes across New York
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and NYC traffic laws
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology to meet tight delivery deadlines
- Load/unload cargo with precision and proper safety protocols
- Communicate seamlessly with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Maintain impeccable driving records and safety documentation
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or B license with current endorsements
- Minimum 3 years commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 5 years
- Ability to work weekends (Fri-Sun) with flexible early morning hours
- Pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Familiarity with NYC metro area and surrounding states
