Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A vehicles in a safe and professional manner across the Philadelphia and New York regions.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, documenting any issues immediately.
- Load and unload cargo accurately and securely, ensuring all freight is handled with care.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and adhere to all DOT regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service while communicating effectively with dispatch and clients.
- Uphold the company’s high standards for cleanliness, safety, and fuel efficiency.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of road maps and traffic patterns in the Northeast corridor.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and perform manual labor duties.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
