Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and vans in accordance with all federal and state regulations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper handling and documentation.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to ensure timely deliveries.
- Adhere to company policies regarding driving hours and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) issued by the state.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MTC).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record with no DUIs or major accidents in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong knowledge of highway geography and navigation.
- Physically capable of lifting heavy objects and performing manual tasks.
