Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages and food orders across Washington DC metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Optimize routes using GPS navigation to ensure timely deliveries
- Communicate delivery status updates to dispatch and customers
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Assist with loading/unloading operations at warehouse
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Ability to operate box trucks and cargo vans (CDL preferred but not required)
- Strong knowledge of Washington DC streets and surrounding areas
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Must pass background check and drug screening
