Responsibilities
- Operate company-provided 26-foot box truck for regional freight delivery
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Load/unload freight using provided equipment (pallet jacks, dollies)
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Optimize delivery routes for maximum efficiency
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients
- Represent PrimeFreight with professional appearance and service
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with Hazmat endorsement (or ability to obtain)
- 2+ years of commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Basic smartphone proficiency for communication apps
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of Jacksonville metro area and surrounding regions
- Self-motivated with strong time management skills
