Responsibilities
- Deliver packages safely and efficiently to residential and commercial addresses
- Maintain accurate delivery records using Amazon's handheld scanning device
- Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to all traffic laws and Amazon's safety protocols
- Provide excellent customer service during delivery interactions
- Manage time effectively to meet daily delivery targets
- Communicate delivery exceptions or route delays to dispatch
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 1 year)
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with Lincoln area
- Reliable transportation to and from assigned depot
- Availability to work flexible shifts including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Basic smartphone proficiency for app-based communication
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Previous delivery or logistics experience preferred
