Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles within San Francisco and surrounding Bay Area regions
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo with precision and care using provided equipment
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and route documentation
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Manage time efficiently to meet tight delivery schedules
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no DUIs in last 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Ability to navigate complex urban environments and restricted zones
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Local San Francisco Bay Area knowledge preferred
